What is a “Rough Opening (RSO)”?
- The rough opening is the opening in the wall that the door fits
into. Normally the rough opening is sized 1” in the width
and 1⁄2” on the height larger than the doorframe.

Can I install any door between my
house and my garage?
- You must first check with local building codes, but most often
a 20 min fire-rated door is required for home applications.
